Proof of Evolution - Evolution Explained in a Nutshell:

What is evolution? To evolve means to slowly improve.

Exponential growth Replication with slight Variations => Natural Selection

Exponential growth Replication, which is always true in nature,
implies near certain death to most.
The probability to survive is so slim,
that any large variation of a newborn
incapacitates the individual in its chances to survive.
Many different very small variations do occur, and a small
portion of those better the probability of the individual to survive.
If this individual is to survive and reproduce, so might some of the new genes.

It is in this slow process that after many generations those slight variations
accumulate and produce the wonderful nature we now see.

It is important to stress, that this rule applies to any mischievous gene:
If a cheetah grows one toenail a bit too long, it might pay by death.

This is why species have stayed the same throughout many generations.
Natural selection is very keen on preserving that which it has already created,
all else in the environment being the same.

If a group of individuals are forming new and better genes,
they will compete successfully with their parent form and usually make it extinct.
If the group deviated enough, while the parent form survived,
Natural selection will separate them into two distinct species over time.
Intermediate forms will find it difficult to compete on resources
with their more extreme lookalikes,
and slowly over generations will diminish in numbers and become extinct.
With this process, one species becomes two distinct species.

Natural Selection seemingly creates a sense of order in Nature.
The Species are there, they are distinct,
and can be classified and organized easily.

This perception is false.

Natural Selection is constantly at work,
preserving that which it has already created,
and perfecting that which is still forming.

When a species, an organ of such,
structure or instinct are first forming,
they will be highly variable until
Natural Selection has had enough generations
to make them distinct and alike those of
the other individuals of the same group.

Charles Darwin noticed that the hands of the Orangutan are
very different than one another among the individual Orangutans.
From this he deduced that Natural Selection is still forming their perfect shape.

Mankind is here about 100,000 years.
This is very little on a Natural Selection time scale.
The new and most important structure man introduced
is an over developed brain,
with a much higher degree of mental powers, subconsciousness,
and expanded Tabula Rasa qualities.

This structure is highly variable, and we know very little about it.

An illustration:

Mom widget was pregnant and thirsty
so she left the heard to find water.
in her agony she didn't notice that her skill
of smelling water is just a tiny bit better than
most of the rest of the heard.

At the new oasis many baby widgets had much water
and even had better water searching genes.

Better, that is, as compared with the heard,
just a tiny bit, just like mom, or a bit more,
or a bit less, each with his own.

When they grew up a bit it was easy for the new
family to re-join with the heard because
during the journey back to the heard mom
could always get some water and if it wasn't enough
she had quite a few baby widgets
with the right genes to help out.

But when they joined the heard
they always kept on the sides!

Since they can smell the water faster
then the rest of the heard most of time,
they rather stay close to the wasteland,
where they can be first to reach the water
that no one in the heard but their brothers
and sisters could reach, even if had picked
the right strategic position.

And so they struggled for generation,
searching for fresh water where it isn't,
making new widgets as opportunity knocks,
losing large numbers to this heritage
with these superb genes,
with every drought year,
diminishing in numbers with respect
to their relative size to the heard,
which remains otherwise reasonably constant.

Only those with this quality real superb survive,
and this new quality becomes their downfall,
except that a small group of mom family water smellers widgets survives,
and then comes the real drought, the big one.

The agile widgets know their way around
and can travel to rainy areas where they will strive,
and still struggle among themselves,
continue to die while perfecting this new quality,
and where they will no longer mingle with
the heard making, bad genes that can't smell water,
thereby creating a new type of widget,
name it the water smelling widget,
or,
the rest of the heard might die alltogether along
with all others like it during this year,
leaving the mom heritage the only surving widgets,
and we will never change their name,
just call them still widgets,
and say they evolved to grow a water smelling sense to combat droughts,
and this is why they later grew to
as large a distribution that we now see.

Every fine quality we see in nature,
(which is all, including those currently still forming,),
has its own complex story,
but has in all cases been created
by many sacrifices over many generations.
