Charles Darwin in his book
The Origin of Species, never claims
knowledge of the origin of species:
"I must premise, that I have nothing to do with the
origin of the primary mental powers,
any more that I have with that of life itself." -

He does say there is one origin for all species:
"Probably all of the organic beings which have ever lived on this earth
have descended from some one primordial form, into which life was first breathed." -
The Origin of Species, Recapitulation and conclusion.
In order to show a Proof of Evolution, one must first
make an accurate claim of that which is to be proven.
It is reasonable to claim that all species currently living
descended from a single ancestor.
This ancestor, is one that science will probably never
introduce to us.
If it does, it wont tell were it came from, and how.
