The name of my date ended up being Rimona,
not Liora as my memory said the other day.
What would Freud say?
I was very happy that I managed to disperse all
the Harmonicas.
There was a short while there,
where the several of them each with their own tune
dominated the table.
It goes without saying that me being Jewish,
the missionary angels started working,
and so did I, holding my own.
My subconciousness automatically diverted such attempts
to the laws of humanhood, starting with the second.
"The Ten", is dedicated to You and Rimona
in Tandem, and to Shai, her husband.
Shai spent a good portion of the night
having a very hard time, mostly grinding water:
From Haggaddah Shel Pesach, Avadim Haiinu:
"Ve chol Ha Marbai Lessapper be ye zi at mizraim,
Harei ze meshubach"
"And all who tell-tale in length the story of Exodus,
it is praiseworthy."
I admire Shai's persistentce adhering to this,
starting with his children, later in the evening
diverting focus to the missinary role landing
on him by the Dichfinne commandment.
("Kol Dichfinne Yai Tai Ve Yai Chol" -
"All who chance to pass by, stop over and eat"
Haggaddah, Ha Lachma).
In passing,
Shai was also learning quite a few things from me,
which always puts a large smile on my face.
What it was that I myself have learned this
Passover Night, I call "The Ten".
